On the day Joãozinho turned 11, his father asked the following question:
— Son, do you know how babies are born?
The boy, scared, turned pale and replied:
— I don’t want to knoooow!
And in tears, he insisted:
— Promise you won’t tell me, dad…
The father, confused, scratching his head, couldn’t understand:
— But why don’t you want to know, Joãozinho?
And the boy, sobbing:
— Because when I turned 6, they told me the Easter Bunny didn’t exist. At 8, I found out that mermaids, or the Saci-pererê, or fairy godmothers don’t exist. And at 10, I realized that Santa Claus is you. If now I find out that adults don’t have sex, I have no reason to keep living!
